The Mallee Division of General Practice main office is located within the Mildura Private Hospital, Thirteenth Street, Mildura, but also has an office in Swan Hill which is co-located with Mallee Family Care in Beveridge Street.  These two offices service an area of almost 100,000 square kms of northern Victoria and southern NSW.  The GP complement currently stands at around 75, with approx. 55 Practice Nurses.  Practices range from those with 16 GPs to 17 solo practices, many of which are in small rural or remote areas.

Member practices are aided through the programs of the Division's staff - a major focus is on mental health initiatives in both the western (Mildura-based) and eastern (Swan Hill-based) regions.  The Division also has a strong consumer relationship, drawing on input from the Consumer Focus Groups and Consumer Reference Group to guide further development of support programs.

The Mallee Division acknowledges the financial support of the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing, and the Victorian Dept. of Human Services.  We are also a proud member of the Australian General Practice Network
